The Bible on Environment

A bespoke bible study applied in response to the question of climate change, pollution and protecting the environment. The study explores roots to the whole debate and menance about the environment – locally and globally. If the perfect love of God and neighbour is the pinnacle of the good life (Matthew 22:34-40), then our failure to love God means we fail to care for the things God cares about, including the earth. As physical creatures, we possess an intimate solidarity with the earth; our well-being is tied to its. Failure to care for creation, therefore, is also symptomatic of a breakdown of love for our neighbours, whether they be near or far, in space or in time.
